The Government and Nonprofit Job Fair, held in person at the WMU Student Center on main campus, brings government agencies/entities and nonprofit organizations to campus that are recruiting candidates from all WMU colleges, majors and programs.

Do you have an internship coming up in Spring? Are you ready for it? 

This event will prepare you for your internship by detailing how you can stand out as an intern and build your career! Hear what employers want you to know before starting your internship and make a fantastic first impression on your new supervisor!

Major Insights is geared to first year and transfer students who are undecided on a business major. The program consists of three, 2-hour hands-on sessions on three consecutive afternoons. The goal is to provide information that can help you select a major! Completion of all three sessions earns two Foundational Level SPuRS credits! Students must participate in all three sessions of this program to be eligible for the two SPuRS credits (1 Foundational Level - Personal and Interpersonal Knowledge and 1 Foundational Level - Professional Insight).

Major Match-Up is an event for all students wishing to explore Haworth College of Business majors. A student could explore two majors each evening with senior-level students who are knowledgeable and engaged with their programs. Students will learn what it takes to be successful in the major, what the coursework is like, who the faculty are, which employers come to campus to hire students for internships or full-time positions in this major, which organizations are aligned with the major, which events are best to attend and have any other questions answered. This is a peer-to-peer event, designed to provide information to first- and second-year students who are exploring options in order to select a major.

This program will help you implement advanced decision-making skills when it is time to choose a major and understand how it connects to related fields.

You will be expected to listen to the employer鈥檚 presentation and engage actively in conversation with them. Please plan to have your camera on and be dressed in business casual attire. Interview rooms are available in the Zhang Career Center if you are in need of a quiet space.

Please note, if you RSVP for a WIRED session, you must attend. If you are a no call/no show, your Handshake will be blocked and you will be required to come in and have a meeting with a Career Advisor. Additionally, you will have to write an apology letter to the employer for missing your session.
